When you arrive to the party and find your table assignment, please be sure to leave a congratulatory message for Matti on the "sign-in board." The sign in board (Matti is using a mirror instead of a board) is a Bat Mitzvah tradition. Instead of a guestbook, a sign in board (mirror) is a way for Matti to remember all of the amazing guests who were in attendance.
The party begins with a cocktail hour for the adults while the teens/kids dance and play games led by the DJ. Then, all guests come to the dance floor for dancing, dinner, and more dancing.
The party will feature:
special entrances for Matti and her immediate family
blessings over the wine (Kiddush) and bread (Motzi) led by Matti's Uncle
a slide show of Matti (also featuring her friends and family)
a candlelighting ceremony to highlight some of the "VIPs" in Matti's life
a lively dance called the Hora and the traditional Chair lift (see FAQ)
